It just doesn't get any more convenient than this condo at Columbine. Situated at the top of the hill overlooking the ski resort with SKI-IN/SKI-OUT access you are in the midst of all the activity during the day and perched on top of the world with INCREDIBLE views at night. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit was completely remodeled recently to include a fabulous kitchen and baths, slate flooring, new stainless appliances, new beds, and flat panel TV's. Upon entering the unit you can't help but feel warm and comfortable with the easy layout accommodating up to 7 people.
When you walk through the front door, you are in the open living room, dining room, and kitchen. This is the perfect area to enjoy the warmth of a wood burning fire after a big day of adventures. The kitchen has been remodeled and is well stocked for a big dinner, after which, you could gather around the large table for game night.
Also on the main level are two bedrooms- a queen bedroom with in-suite bathroom and the kids room with a bunk bed and twin extra twin. The kids have their own full bathroom down the hall with walk in shower all to themselves. Up the winding staircase is the room with the great views! Here you'll find another queen bed and another full bathroom. There's few lines in this condo, since each bedroom can enjoy a designated place to get ready and clean up.
After a hard day on the slopes or a leisurely hike you can relax in the hot tub or grill out on one of the gas grills in the common area. Sitting in the OVERSIZED HOT TUB at night and overlooking the lights of the resort and town is one of the best ways to unwind and enjoy your Crested Butte vacation. With accommodations like this, you may never want to leave!
Mountain Access:
In the winter, walk just a few feet out your front door, snap into your skis, and glide down to the Red Lady or Silver Queen lifts. It's beginner to intermediate terrain from the condo to the base area so having the kids ski down to ski school is no problem. In the summer, you've got the exact same access to the best mountain biking and hiking trails of Mt. Crested Butte.
This property is also serviced by the new First Tracks free shuttle system. Click on the QR code in your welcome app and request a ride to the base area where you can ski or catch a shuttle down to town for shopping and dining. They come right to the property and it's FREE!

The property is lovely and comfortable--truly ski in/ski out! Beds were comfy, linens and towels were ample, supplied soaps and TP were great. Lots of seating at dinner table and in living room. It's an older condo building, but it is well-maintained and well-furnished. Very cute mountain decor--moose, elk, bear motif--with lots of cute signs and decent artwork. Three full recently refurbished bathrooms. Very warm and cozy. Great view of the ski lodge from the condo, and of Crested Butte from where you put your skis on--about 20 steps from the condo! Nice big hot tub between the buildings. One thing the condo could use is plastic cups to transport drinks to the hot tub (minor detail.) This was one condo that was actually better in real life than in the photos on VRBO!

This is our third time using IronHorse. Every time the experience has been great. Very helpful with all things related to reservations as well as quick response when needed something at the condo. We didn't have an ash bucket for the fireplace but the Ironhorse team was quick to respond to my email and brought one up quickly.

This is our second time staying at Columbine 2107. The condo is perfect ski in-out (as long as there is snow!). Beautiful views, perfect size for 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Or even 7 adults if 3 don't mind sleeping in twin beds! Our experience was great! We will be back! The only recommendation I would have is maybe an extra fan or two for those that get a little warm sleeping. Upstairs with heat rising got a little toasty even with everything turned down. Not an issue, just a suggestion.

We had an excellent experience from making the reservation to checking out. The only complaint (and not really a complaint) is having the first option to reserve for the following year. We travel to Florida every summer and we always have first choice in making the reservation for the following year at that location. This is nice as to help you have return customers and for the customer to want to continue to return every year at the same time.

We loved the location of the condo as well as the condo itself. It was perfect for our 6 guest and could have comfortably accommodated 7 guest. We would love to be able to stay again next year. Definitely someplace I would like to return.

Wonderful condo! Great for our family of 7. The condo made it so easy to save money by cooking meals there. Nicely stocked kitchen. We even had a fox come right up to our windows & door smelling our food :) My only suggestion would be to add a glass cake pan. We loved our visit to Crested Butte!!

Condo 2107 was beautiful we hope to book it again next year, last year was our 1st yr. at Crested Butte and we rented 2106 directly on VRBO, when we wanted to come back we loved the Columbine condos but wanted a bigger more comfortable place, this condo was perfect for us. I am glad to get a weeks vacation with my children as they are out of the house and on their own or in college, I hope to continue this tradition well into the years of my grandchildren. We hope to be able to rent this condo many more times in the future.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the ski in ski out availability. It made lunches and breaks so easy. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances clean and operating normally. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. There were enough beds for all and they were comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer.
